The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has just approved for PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) to conduct monitoring, investigation, survey and assessment of marine resources for offshore wind power projects in Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
The offshore wind power project in Ba Ria – Vung Tau has been presented by PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment about the marine survey report towards offshore wind power project investment for domestic service and electricity export to Singapore on 11/8.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has just approved for PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) to conduct monitoring, investigation, survey and assessment of marine resources for offshore wind power projects in Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
According to the Decision of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment issued on August 24, PTSC is allowed to conduct the above activities at locations off the coast of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, including Sea Area No.1 and Sea Area No. 2. Area number 1 includes 2 areas with an area of 89,027 ha, used depth from 20-35m (according to Hon Dau elevation system). Area No. 2 includes 2 areas with an area of 98,897 hectares, the depth used from 50-65m (according to Hon Dau Coordinate System). The implementation period is 36 months from the effective date of this Decision (August 24, 2023).
