Loc Ninh 1,2,3 – The project cluster of solar power plants under Super Energy Corporation in Loc Ninh district, Binh Phuoc province has officially come into commercial operation at the end of December 2020 with a total capacity of 550 MWp.
Loc Ninh solar power plant cluster with capacity of 550 MWp is currently one of the largest solar power projects in Vietnam. The project is developed on an area of 625 hectares in Loc Tan commune, Loc Ninh district, Binh Phuoc province with a total installed capacity of the plant reaching 550 MWp. In line with the design, the plant provides the national power system with approximately 881,668,000 kWh/year, contributing to reducing CO2 emissions into the environment by nearly 681 thousand tons/year.
The plant uses more than 1,229,640 450Wp Mono Half-cell panels for extremely high efficiency provided by JA Solar Corporation. In order to bring about socio-economic efficiency, environmental protection, and safe operation, the plant uses solar energy as primary raw material, leading to no industrial waste. Solar panels made with semiconductor technology are not toxic to the environment and are completely recyclable after the end of their useful life.
The project not only contributes to supplementing clean and environmentally friendly energy sources to the national power grid system, but also actively joins hands with the Party committee and local government to perform well social welfare activities, environmental protection, as well as join hands to develop Loc Ninh district, Binh Phuoc more comprehensively and sustainably.
