After a planning phase of a few years, Asia Energy Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Super Energy Corporation has now started construction work on a new wind power plant located in Nam Binh commune, Dak Song district, Dak Nong province. A groundbreaking ceremony for Asia Dak Song 1 Wind Power Plant was hosted on January 4, 2023 to remark this commencement.



Mr. Le Trong Yen – Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People’s Committee, said Asia Dak Song 1 Wind Power Plant will contribute positively to the province’s socio-economic development: creating favorable conditions for jobs in local areas and supplying renewable energy to the country after completion.



This project was granted approval by Dak Nong Provincial People’s Committee on November 10, 2020 with total project value 1,700 billion VND and expected to install 13 wind turbines with a capacity of 50 MW in October 2023. After the commercial operation (COD) in December 2024, the Project shall be able to generate an average power output of 173,000 MWh per year to the national grid.

The project is a clear commitment to Super Energy Corporation as a renewable energy producer, to Dak Nong province and also to the nation. This new power plant is a logical and necessary step towards strengthening the company’s position as a leader in renewable energy industry, and the company will now pursue the successive development of other markets over the next few years.



On this occasion, Super Energy donated 100 health insurance cards to local residents and 12 water purifiers, total project value of VND 182 million, to the People’s Committee of Nam Binh commune, Dak Song district. These are social responsibility initiatives contributed to improve local people’s health including providing access to clean drinking water.
