On June 10, The Ministry of Industry and Trade had a meeting with Ben Tre and Tra Vinh provinces on green hydrogen production project in Vietnam.
The delegates raised a number of key issues such as: A mechanism for green hydrogen production projects; ensure a stable renewable power source for production; Investors need to study national technical regulations and international standards to ensure that the project implementation process complies with legal regulations, etc.
From the recommendations of the leaders of Ben Tre and Tra Vinh provinces, and the suggestions of specialized units of MOIT, the Minister suggested that two provinces need to submit a proposal to the Government about the project. At the same time, investors are required to carefully study and clarify the feasibility of the project.
