The Central Power Projects Management Board (CPMB) coordinated with relevant units to active phase 1 from position 92 (connecting the 220kV Cam Ranh substation branch) to position 138A (connecting Thien Tan 1.4 solar power plant) belongs to the 220 kV Nha Trang-Thap Cham line project.

The objectives of the project is to create a 220 kV circuit connecting the central coastal region, ensuring safe operation; meet the capacity release of solar power plants and wind power plants connected to 110 kV, 220 kV grids in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces in the coming period.

The activation phase 1 has contributed to freeing up the capacity of the Thien Tan 1.4 solar power plant, providing an additional 100 MWp to the power system, meeting the load demand for the region.
